About Us
'Pupils’ well-being and personal development are exemplary; they are confident, articulate young people with positive attitudes to learning.' (OFSTED 2011)
- this is the main aim and drive of our school, to develop young people, we are really proud to receive this recognition.
At Madley we aim to provide the kind of ethos where positive attitudes and values are fostered, where your child can feel confident and secure, where independence, self-discipline and respect for others can develop alongside a balanced range of challenging and exciting learning opportunities for all children. The children are the 'heartbeat' of our school and our aim is always to enhance their opportunities and challenges in relation to real life, first hand experiences are always explored where possible (that's why our PTA bought us two mini buses !).
Partnerships are the core of our school, between home and school as well as partnerships between the school and businesses, creative practitioners, other schools and anyone who enhances the opportunities and education of our children ! Our curriculum aims to provide the best possible experiences to ensure it meets the needs and interests of every child.
Education is a journey and we all share the responsibility for ensuring 'we share the rope'.
