LONGTOWN
Y5 visited Longtown Activity Centre in mid September and had a packed day of paddle boarding, zip wire and 'leap of faith.' This was a day for the children to develop resilience, understanding, independence, teamwork and communication as well as humility and awareness.
There were lots of examples of children pushing themselves to achieve more than they thought they could and also supporting each other. It was an educational day as well as a day of enjoyment. Some children overcame fears and pushed themselves past what they thought they were capable of.
