Paralympian Sasha Kindren visits Madley!

Rounders at Kinsgtone High School

Rounders at Kinsgtone High School 1 Team Madley , silver medal winners
Sport is a fundamental part of school life, we are very fortunate to have won the Herefordshire Sports Association's 'Primary School Of The Year For Sport and PE' for 2010,2011,2012,2013 and 2015. We are also the Forest Of Dean Schools Gymnastics Champions for 2014 and 2015. Sport is about participation, inspiration and enjoyment as well as competition. We invest in developing the best teachers of PE and present the children with as many opportunities to participate in a wide range of sports with top quality coaches and to visit a variety of sporting arenas, events and stadiums. We even have our own BMX track and we built some Formula 1 go karts !! As a school we offer a wide range of after school clubs for free including football, netball, tag rugby, gymnastics, tennis, hockey, cricket as well as martial arts (parents have to pay for just this one !) to name a few (we have done even more). Sport is integrated into our culture and we follow the All Black 'legacy' of humility, trust and excellence in all we do - win, lose or draw you congratulate your opponent and learn from your triumph or defeat and a desire to participate as part of 'Team Madley'.

Luctonians Tagfest 2016

Three teams took part in the competition with one team reaching the final and narrowly losing by a 'golden try'. Excellent rugby was played by all and the behaviour was exemplary throughout.

Forest of Dean Gymnastics competition 2016

41 children took part in all the age groups and categories with 18 medals being won (5 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze), the most medals for any participating school. A great effort with amazing dedication, behaviour and attitude.
