We have been proud to welcome so many new friends to Madley Pre-School this September! We are enjoying supporting them with their transition sessions and getting to know their interests. We have seen lots of interest in role-play and our home corner has become The Three Bear's Cottage! We are exploring different sizes in our play and introducing lots of mathematical language to support this. Our role play has involved constructing new houses, chairs and beds for the 3 bears and Goldilocks and we have explored porridge in different forms. We have also enjoyed looking at the large sunflowers and have used these to inspire our creativity, painting observational pictures, crafting sunflowers, using loose parts to create transient art and using tweezers to remove the sunflower seeds from a large flower head!
