Safeguarding Committee

This committee meets at least once each term. The committee oversees safeguarding, inclusion and pupil outcomes in the school, and monitors these through:


Terms of reference include:

  • Considering the results of parent and pupil surveys with regard to pupil safety and wellbeing

  • Receiving reports from the school on issues such as attendance, behaviour and use of the pupil premium

  • Ensuring that pupil records are kept securely

  • Keeping relevant policies and procedures under review

  • Scrutinising the school development plan to ensure safeguarding elements are monitored

  • Keeping up to date with changes in law and good practice advice
