This committee meets at least once each term. The committee oversees safeguarding, inclusion and pupil outcomes in the school, and monitors these through:

Considering the results of parent and pupil surveys with regard to pupil safety and wellbeing
Receiving reports from the school on issues such as attendance, behaviour and use of the pupil premium
Ensuring that pupil records are kept securely
Keeping relevant policies and procedures under review
Scrutinising the school development plan to ensure safeguarding elements are monitored
Keeping up to date with changes in law and good practice advice
