At Madley, we aim to ensure that all our children leave at the end of Year 6 with the skills and confidence to work and think like a historian. To achieve this, and to help children to see the relevance of developing historical skills, we make links to the real world wherever possible and ensure that our children employ the key life skills, which run through all of our learning:
