Spring 2023
This term we have focused on some of our favourite story books! we looked at "Elmer" "The Gruffalo" and "Owl Babies" . We used these stories to inspire our learning in lots of different ways. We loved acting out the stories and playing different character roles. We enjoyed making Scrambled snake and an Owl Icecream shop. We created log pile houses and dens for the Gruffalo and fox. We found out about snakes and foxes and made books about what we had learned. We enjoyed learning about different colours and how to mix our own colours to create our very own Elmer elephants. We learned about owls and other nocturnal creatures and enjoyed making nests and bird watching from our Adventure shed.
